American Herro: a documentary

"American Herro" is an inspirational story about a woman’s journey from a refugee fleeing terror in Iraq, to America where she overcomes her frightening first years to eventually achieve the American dream. This feature-length documentary follows a young Muslim-Kurdish woman, Herro Mustafa, on a truly American quest.
